Remembering a Dear Friend

This week, a very dear friend lost his battle with cancer. From the time of his diagnosis in October, I was in denial that it was happening. I certainly did not expect that he would be gone so soon.

The best description of him I can give is that he was “chuckle-y.” He had a twinkle in his eye and could always find something to smile about. He always cared deeply about me and my family.

He left behind a wife and a son. I am sure that he left his family with great memories of how much he loved them. It makes me think of how short life is, and how every moment with my kids is important in some way. In honor of his memory, “No Telly, No Trouble” will be taking the rest of the month to spend together as a family, making new memories. Thanks for reading, and we’ll see you in March!
